I came across this website and have a list of merchants who sale items on wholesale. I decided to email them and find out if they had those phones. It didn't raise my suspicion why the phones were going for so cheap. I told some friends about it and they were excited and actually I found 10 people who were interested in buying the phones from me.
So I kept contacting this guy from China and he mentions that I he has the phones and my package is ready. I told him to send me some proof that its a company that exists because I was going to spend $1800 on four iphones and one nokia n95 8gb oh yeah I was planning to keep the nokia for myself.
Anyways he sends me a fake certificate of which was in Chinese and I couldn't and didn't know how to verify it was legitimate. Then he sends me a list of tracking numbers to prove that they have shipped other packages. The guy was polite and kind on his emails and chats that I really didn't think he was a scam artist. We even chatted about the scams out there.
I was kinder desparate at that point I needed extra money for school and rent. I figured if this order works out I can be able to sell phones and go to school at th same time. I had exactly $2000 in my account so I decided why not right.
The guy kept telling me to use western union. I went to western union and tried to send the money, but they canceled my order saying that they have been sending money to China and its been scams. I came back and told the guy that they refused. He kept telling me that he would like to do business with me and my package is ready and will arrive in 3 to 4 days. So he tells me to send the money in parts. I do so and he gives me a tracking number to put on to this website http://www.ems.com.cn/ its a Chinese Courier Service which is a fake website that does not even have a customer service number or a way to contact them.
So I place the order and I wait for my package. I was really excited because I was getting my stuff for really cheap and brand new. Three weeks later I am still waiting for my package. I send the guy an 4 emails and he never responds. I waited for him in the msn messenger and he never logs on. I go online to the website and it no longer exists. My heart sunk to the ground. I just realized that I have been scammed.
Things to look out for and to avoid.
- A website that has a list of products and no shopping basket.
- One that just has graphics
- Needing to contact via msn or hotmail
- Unorganized websites

I honestly hope that by me posting this blog I will prevent another person from getting scammed and that is my main goal. Times are tough and money does not come easy these days. Taking advantage of hard working honest and trustworthy people is wrong and unfair. I have always and still favor hard work, integrity, honesty. Taking advantage of people is wrong and little efforts like spending some time to share with people just like yourself is important.
I hope this information is valuable. To me its worth $1,800. I hope I prevented you from being scammed. I cannot get my $1,800 back, but a small donation would help. You can donate any amount you want. Thank you in advance for your support.
